To ensure that we have enough information to accurately price your buildings, we ask that you fill out the following form as completely as possible. The default options for the pull-down lists have been set to the most typical and usually the most cost effective options.

If you have a unit layout for your buildings, please fax it to us at (830) 643-1912 and reference it as a web quote. If you have AutoCAD drawn files of the unit layout for your buildings, please e-mail the AutoCAD files to us at abscontact@centurionind.com. Please send only .dwg or .dxf type files.

The standard building sizes are based on 5', 10' or 12' module increments.
Unit sizes selected will be used to adjust the building widths or lengths in cases of discrepancy.
The standard eave height is 8'-6".
The standard roof slope is 3/8" in 12".
The standard door sizes are 3'x7' for 5' wide units, 8'x7' for 10' wide units, and 10'x10' or 10'x12' for 12' wide units.
Other door sizes are available upon request.
Buildings with 12' wide units are typically for boat and/or RV storage. The eave height should be either 12' or 14' high.
Buildings on the property boundary, typically have single sloped roofs.
Buildings on the interior of the property, typically have double sloped roofs.

Your self-storage building quotation will be based on the design criteria specified above, so if you do not know what your local building authority uses for building codes, PLEASE DO NOT GUESS. Call your local building department for this information, or call A-Lert at (800) 210-5375 and ask our Estimating Department for assistance. Any fields left blank will be substituted with design criteria typically used in the area of the shipping destination. Final design information may affect the quoted price. Collateral load is any roof load such as : HVAC, ceilings, powered vents, or fire protection sprinklers. Dead load is the combined weight of the building structure. Importance Factor is determined by the building end use category.

Notes:
Northern Roof option includes wide mastic, extra screws, thermal blocks and extra gutter straps.
UL90 is a roof system uplift rating as specified by the Underwriters Laboratories.
UL90 standing seam roofs will receive A-Lert's SS216 (16" wide) panels.
Standard and Premium color charts are available by mail upon request.
Premium colors, if selected, will be an additional cost.
20 yr. Warranty may not be available on some colors.

Notes:
Standard roll up doors include latch sets, tensioning devices and shaft bearings. Other options are available.
Mesh for insulation will be a "chicken wire" type for the roof insulation only.
Including labor for erection may affect delivery for coordination of crew schedules.
Roof and wall insulations will have reinforced white vinyl back (WMPVR).
Roof insulations thicker than 3" will receive a high clip system.
Standing seam "floating" clip systems allow for thermal expansion, and are generally not needed on small building widths.

Additional Information

If there is any additional information we should know about your buildings, please provide us with as much information as is possible in the area below. Some special conditions might be step downs in roof due to site elevations, special loading or design, tie-ins to existing buildings, and special roof framing. Please include the orientation of the condition from the front left corner of the building.
